April 28th JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is searching for a Telecommunications Construction Manager to support our client in Anchorage AK. This role requires 50%-70% travel across Alaska and the remaining time remote. The Construction Manager is responsible for managing large projects, developing and implementing projects, programs, and procedures that have a general organizational impact. The role requires providing functional and technical guidance to junior staff while fostering teamwork within the area of responsibility. The Construction Manager will manage a wide variety of projects, ensuring all are completed on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities
Contract and manage outside consultants and contractors. Create project scope of work (SOW) and bill of materials (BOM), and oversee and participate in the procurement of materials. Develop and maintain project budgets. Develop and maintain project schedules, including traditional Gantt and PERT charts. Support and define project scopes with internal and external customers, and oversee and participate in the development and resourcing of materials. Ensure complete documentation of projects. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
8 years of Construction Management experience Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of Construction Manager experience can substitute Minimum 3 years of telecommunication specific construction management experience Experience managing consultants, contractors, developing scopes of works PLUSSES
