Location: Boston, 3-5 days on-site
Hours per week: 40 hours p/w
Duration: 6 months
Rate / Salary Range: $32-$35 per hour
Timeline for hire: 3 rounds of virtual interviews; start for end of May/beginning of June
Job Description:
Our client, a major footwear brand, is seeking a Junior Producer to join their team for a long term freelance partnership! You will be supporting their in-house global photography studio, ensuring that projects and productions stay on task, on deadline, and all parties are set up for success. This role requires strong collaboration skills to work with the internal studio team, cross-functional partners, and external collaborators, ensuring smooth planning and execution of marketing productions under the guidance of the Producer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Producer in assembling productions.
- Coordinate meetings with creatives, agents, and producers.
- Manage schedules, shot lists, and bookings for models/talent, hair & makeup, stylists, crew, and locations.
- Independently manage smaller-scale, in-studio productions.
- Ensure all angles and styles are captured on set.
- Relay questions from stylists to the fit team.
- Handle sample tag management on set.
- Influence capture planning and prioritize order.
- Collaborate with requesters to meet shoot expectations.
- Facilitate on-set communication between photographers and requesters/fit teams.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
- Assess project risks and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
- Submit invoices and purchase orders against the project budget.
- Create and distribute call sheets 48-24 hours before shoot dates.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of studio industry experience.
- Familiarity with production processes, workflows, project management, and digital asset management platforms.
- Experience with both on-location and in-studio productions.
- Preferred experience with video productions.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to develop cross-functional partnerships.
- Experience managing vendors and talent on assigned projects.
- Flexible, productivity-focused, and adept at solving problems quickly while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to ensure team alignment and clarity on priorities.
- Excellent collaboration skills with team members across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with SharePoint, Widen, Workhorse, Asana is a plus.
