How you will help us create value together:
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will support the Marketing & Communications Department, which creates compelling print and digital content to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Activities will include creating graphic designs, supporting marketing campaigns, and assisting with multimedia projects.
This onsite position will be based onsite at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee's Harbor District. The target start date for this role is Summer 2025 and has potential to be extended into the Fall 2025 school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Assist in designing engaging graphics for digital platforms, including web graphics, social media visuals, and digital advertisements.
- Create and update marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, banners, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, graphics, and layouts that align with branding standards.
- Prepare print and digital files for production, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries and manage project archives.
- Support design and branding projects from ideation through execution, ensuring timely project completion.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing print and digital design skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with effective problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
