Job Description What You'll Do Coordinate activities of staff, convention personnel, or clients to make arrangements for group meetings, events, or conventions. How You'll Do It Strategically align with internal business partners to determine objectives and requirements for events, such as meetings, conferences, and conventions. Review event bills for accuracy and approve payment. Coordinate services for events, including accommodation, transportation, facilities, catering, signage, displays, special needs, printing, and security. Arrange for audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays, and other event needs. Provide onsite event management as required. Manage third-party relationships as necessary. Qualifications You'll Need The Basic Bachelor's degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Business Administration and Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related fields. 4+ years in Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing, Project Management, Communications, Business, Event Marketing, Sponsorship Marketing, Hospitality, or related roles. In lieu of education, at least 6+ years of relevant experience. Physical and Cognitive Requirements Primarily stationary position, with frequent movement around the environment. Ability to travel 50% nationally and globally. Performed mostly indoors in an office setting. Operate office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and calculators. Bonus Points If You Have 6+ years in relevant roles as listed above. Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position.
