Role and Responsibilities:
The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in the support and development of internal sales procedures and processes for the entire organization. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with highly developed interpersonal qualities and the ability to work efficiently. This position is responsible for support, process development, improvement, and the smooth execution of the sales activities across the company. The detailed roles and responsibilities for the position are provided in detail below:
Primary Responsibilities include:
Content management and creation of documentation, images, and videos of the product line.
Baseline knowledge of terminology, products, and standard options.
Support the sales team with duties.
Organize, file, and maintain internal and external sales documents.
Maintain version control and ensure that content conforms to established guidelines and best practices.
Proofread and copyedit content for proper use of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
Organize and update customer information in the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
Manage and update product price lists.
Manage and create product quotes.
Manage cold calls and initial sales inquiries from customers.
Support the internal Customer Support Desk team with coordination and customer outreach.
Assist the sales team with grant and proposal development in support of emerging opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in sales position or environment.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and precision task execution.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with, and a desire to work within, a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related discipline.
Experience with social media content creation and analysis strategies.
Experience in a high-tech manufacturing or engineering environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
