The candidate must possess extensive experience in Public Relations or Communications. The candidate must have experience with managing media outlets, working with corporate partners and team personnel to create the most effective communications platform. This candidate must understand automotive culture & markets.PREREQUISITE SKILLS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field.At least 10 years of PR & Communications experience. Preferably in the automotive field.Candidate must be able to work well with our partner agency & corporate team.Exceptional communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate with all Lotus Cars USA personnel.Excellent relations with industry-specific media outlets.Ability to produce new ideas for media outlets & brand exposure, while coinciding with our Global PR initiatives.Proper organization skills with the capabilities of developing detailed schedules for internal and external components.Ability to build and continually improve upon the Lotus Cars USA media plan and actionable items.Excellent writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools.Ability to adapt quickly and problem solve when needed, through exceptional decision-making skills.Maintain a budget for your activities, which coincides with entire Lotus Cars USA Marketing Budget.Offer a positive attitude and willingness to learn more about the industry & outlets available.Liaise directly with Global PR & Marketing teams to achieve company deliverables.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The following functions explain the essential aspects of this position. Items may change or be altered as new projects arise.
Act as the voice and public-facing lead for Lotus Cars USA.Plan and execute all external brand communications.Plan and execute all internal brand communications.Organize media events & debuts through planning with influencers and automotive outlets.Continuous planning of media outreach.Organize & support our PR agency with any and all press/media initiatives.Apply proper crisis management when needed, in order to protect the brand.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in multifaceted environments (event, media/press locations, etc.)Ability to travel to any/all events that require press coverage.Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
TIME REQUIRMENT:
Full-time positionAbility to travel (even on weekends)
