Director, Paid Media . This role will lead the development and execution of all paid media plans to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of a significant annual media investment, resulting in increased bookings and revenue. The position will oversee media spending across platforms such as TV, Radio, Print, Streaming, Paid Search, Paid Social, and Affiliate, tailored specifically to MSC Cruises' brand and audience.

The Director of Media will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness, consideration, traffic, customer acquisition, and overall revenue expansion through targeted paid media efforts.
Key Accountabilities
Media Strategy Development:
Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop media strategies aligned with business objectives, brand positioning, and audience preferences, utilizing market research and consumer insights.
Media Planning & Buying:
Lead media plan development and execution across traditional and digital channels, negotiating media buys to optimize reach and cost efficiency.
Audience Targeting & Segmentation:
Identify target segments and develop tailored campaigns to resonate with each.
Creative Integration:
Work with creative teams to ensure media placements align with brand messaging and campaign themes.
Co-Op Marketing:
Consult with sales teams on partners and placements, interpreting results for future decisions.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and analyze media performance metrics, implementing data-driven optimizations.
Innovation:
Stay abreast of industry trends, experimenting with new channels and formats to maintain a competitive edge.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage media budgets, tracking expenses and providing updates to leadership.
Partnership Development:
Build relationships with vendors and industry partners to explore emerging opportunities.
Campaign Reporting & Analysis:
Generate reports and dashboards to communicate performance insights and provide optimization recommendations.
Team Leadership:
Guide and train internal teams and external agencies to maximize output and career growth.
Qualifications:
15+ years in marketing with expertise in media strategy, planning, and measurement
Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or similar; MBA preferred
Experience managing in-house paid media teams and agency partnerships
Previous management of a large media budget ($20M+)
Proven success in integrated media strategies across traditional and digital channels
Experience in the Travel, Leisure, Hospitality, Retail, or similar sectors
Deep digital marketing skills, including platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and programmatic platforms
Strong knowledge of ad platforms, analytics tools, DMPs, CRM, automation, and data visualization tools
VISA Requirements:
