Co-develop and implement an external communication strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values.Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, key community members, legislators, and other stakeholders.Create and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials.Monitor media coverage, industry news, legislative action, and provide timely responses to media inquiries.Plan and manage media events, press conferences, and other media-related activities.Co-develop the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and manage its initiatives - including but not limited to charitable donations, volunteer programs, and sustainability efforts.Help provide media training to key company spokespersons.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.Co-manage external communication budgets and resources effectively.Collaborate with the Corporate Communications Team on internal communications initiatives and events.Co-develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with the organization's overall communications goals.Perform other related duties as assigned.Regular attendance is required for the position.
[Education, Experience and Skills Required [:]{alegreya="" sans""=""} ]{alegreya="" sans""=""}
Four (4) years of experience in strategic communications/marketing or a related field is required.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field is required (Masters Degree is a plus).
Superior writing skills and experience across different communication channels - internal/external, print/online, and social media.
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with a broad range of audiences.
Strong project management skills, including proactivity, the ability to prioritize, and meeting deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once while paying attention to detail.
Problem solving, creative thinking, and results-orientation.
