Key job responsibilities
Participate in the development and implementation of holistic marketing strategies for theatrical film campaigns.
Create and implement effective social media strategies to support overall marketing efforts.
Implement paid media planning and buying, ensuring optimal reach and engagement across various channels.
Develop and execute innovative promotional campaigns, including partnerships, events, and experiential marketing initiatives.
Foster cross-functional synergies, collaborating with PR, creative, digital, and distribution teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Analyze campaign performance across all channels, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, agencies, and industry influencers.
Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in film marketing.
Develop and manage marketing budgets for theatrical campaigns.
Coordinate with international teams to align global marketing efforts for major releases.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science or related field.
4+ years of experience in entertainment analytics.
Proven track record of using data analytics to drive marketing decisions.
Experience with industry research tools (Comscore, NRG, etc.).
Strong proficiency in data visualization and presentation tools.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
Background in theatrical distribution or exhibition.
Knowledge of Canadian media landscape and theatrical market dynamics.
Experience with marketing mix modeling and attribution analysis.
Demonstrated success in applying research insights to marketing strategy.
Comfortable presenting findings to large rooms full of internal stakeholders.
