Overview
Content Marketing:• Create engaging content, including emails, news releases, newsletter articles, annual report spotlights, and other communication materials. Collaborates with Marketing teammates on blogs, social media posts, and other digital communications.• Work closely with Marketing Team and Subject Matter Experts to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all communication channels.• Conduct and curate interviews with teammates, members, and industry specialists to showcase PACU in general and/or PACU's teammates as community and/or industry influencers.• Develop content that highlights member stories, industry insights, and credit union initiatives, ensuring all content aligns with PACU's brand voice and values.• Collaborate with Investment Solutions to support content creation on their websites, social media platforms, intranet pages, and other communication channels, advancing their expertise among members and their clients. May support other teams and committees with similar needs.Event Coordination and Community Outreach:• Support branch managers with the implementation and delivery of Marketing's annual go-to-market plans, which include agreed-upon scheduled member appreciation events, planned financial learning webinars, in-person financial learning presentations, and other community outreach activities within each branch's service area.• Support branch managers with the delivery of requested financial learning activities and/or participation in trade shows, special events, and festivals within their service areas. Some evening and weekend work may be required.• With events, plan and execute communications to increase teammate and member participation and community involvement.• Coordinate event logistics, expenditures, and post-event evaluations.• Build and maintain relationships with regional media outlets and statewide and national credit union trade publications to secure positive coverage, furthering PACU's brand awareness.Operational:• Assist Marketing teammates in the design and production of marketing collateral for consistent messaging and branding.• Assist Marketing teammates in monitoring the impact of new member onboarding and the website's self-serving platforms.• Ensure all marketing communications comply with regulatory requirements and PACU policies.• Stay updated on industry trends and changes affecting marketing communication practices.• Performs other job-related duties required as assigned.Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:
Three to five years of similar or related experience.Education:
(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).Interpersonal Skills:
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.Other Skills:
Excellent written communication, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.Proven history to collaborate and adapt to a fast-paced environment, including changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.Proficiency with social media platforms and content management systems.Knowledge of AP's Style Guide a plus.Experience in filming and photography preferred.Critical, strategic-thinking, and analytical skills.Ability to execute projects within the predetermined budget and timeline.Sound decision-making abilities.Creativity in marketing objectives and outside-the-box problem-solving.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The ability to manage multiple projects at once with a very fast pace.A strong sense of confidentiality.The ability to collaborate within and outside the marketing department and throughout the credit union.Adaptability and flexibility in an ever-changing marketing environment.An attitude of innovation and process improvement.Knowledge of marketing and community programs are preferred.Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Web Tools, Google Analytics, AdWords, and Social Media tools.Physical Requirements:
