We are looking for an
experienced, hands-on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) professional
to join our Marketing team! As a SEO Manager you will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing our SEO strategy. You will be implementing our SEO initiatives, providing recommendations for targeted content initiatives, including website content, blog posts, videos, and social media campaigns. As our online presence in the USA is extremely important for the success of business, your position will play a huge role in driving our business' growth and success with US audiences.This is an
international, fully-remote, freelance contractor
position, working from home, at a location outside of the United States. We are particularly seeking candidates who are based in Argentina and Brazil.There is flexibility in your work hours but we expect that you will generally
maximize your overlap with
US Central Time , eg. until 6pm CT (GMT -3).
The work will all be conducted in English.
Key Responsibilities:SEO strategy and execution:
Develop and implement Zicasso’s SEO strategy, and own/execute on all initiatives, such as website content optimization, deep keyword research so as to inform content across channels, and more.Data analysis and optimization:
Monitor website performance and user behavior, and identify and implement opportunities to continuously improve organic search results and ROI based on consumer knowledge and insights.Competitor analysis and strategy:
Perform competitor analysis on a regular basis to identify communication best strategies and SEO opportunities.Reporting and communication:
Prepare and present regular reports on SEO performance, and identify and implement solutions to SEO challenges and issues.Process improvement and collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing, content, development, partnerships, and traveler care teams to improve SEO processes and productivity. Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO and digital marketing changes and best practices.Required Skills and Experience:4-8 years of experience as SEO Manager, SEO Specialist, or similar role4-8 years of experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategyProven success in SEO4-8 years of experience web analytics, marketing, and business developmentExpertise in A/B and other testing methodsFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScriptStrong working knowledge of Google Analytics, GSC; experience with SEMRush/Ahrefs, 3rd party crawlers and similar tools, plus SEO AI tools such as Surfer SEO.In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods, and significant experience in analyzing dataSense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s successProven project management skills for multiple ongoing projects and tasksCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsStrong Team playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsBachelor’s in Marketing or similar field required.
