ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Utilizes a CMS system to execute updates on the Partnership's websites, as well as new Partnership-managed websites.
Assists with additional web updates on Partnership-assisted websites as needed.
Understanding of the following principles:
Web design and user experience
SEO and SEM
CRM/database management
E-newsletter and email marketing distribution systems
Google Analytics and web metrics
Marketing and advertising
Coordinates with developers and digital vendors on web projects; troubleshoots to solve web issues with third party vendors in a timely manner.
Ensures content is optimized for digital platforms.
Pulls analytics and reporting for Partnership-managed websites, microsites and landing pages, as well as metrics for e-newsletters, blogs, email marketing campaigns and social media. Identifies and tracks trends, reports findings on a monthly basis, and on an as need basis, to the Communications and Marketing team.
Supports the deployment of e-newsletters, email campaigns, blog content, etc.
Places and ensures accuracy of online and social media ad tracking pixels as it pertains to web activation.
Supports marketing through placing ad buys, developing marketing content plans and copywriting and editing, and other marketing duties as needed.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge on all digital trends, including website best practices, widgets, platforms, apps, tracking and measurement tools as they pertain to The Partnership's digital presence.
Tracks and manages domain names and renewals, web security certificates, hosting and other web maintenance and upkeep purchases.
Provides on-site support at Partnership events as needed and serves as the on-call lead for website updates that are needed during events/off business hours (on an occasional basis).
Supports the attainment of the Communications and Marketing team goals.
Serves as a role model within the organization and a positive representative of The Partnership in the community.
Conducts oneself in a manner consistent with organization values, goals and objectives.
Assists with other organizational responsibilities as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in web skills, including knowledge of HTML and CMS programs, ability to learn new web technology and platforms. Proficiency in Google Analytics and other metric reporting tools, effective communication skills with non-web professionals required. Knowledge of marketing and advertising principles. A plus, but not required: knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, Dreamweaver, CRM/database systems, email newsletter distribution systems, graphic design principles and Adobe Creative Suite, and copywriting principles.
Proficiency in communication including excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as a strong commitment to collaborating with team members toward
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism or related field.
Education or training that includes online communications and website development/management, or related field, is a plus.
3-5 years' experience in web design, administration and or/management and working within a marketing and communication team.
