Summary / Objective
TYR Sport is seeking a Retention Marketing Specialist with strong expertise in Klaviyo to lead our email/SMS lifecycle efforts as well as our loyalty and referral programs for both the US and EU. This is a full-time, in-office role responsible for building and optimizing campaigns that increase customer loyalty, engagement, and lifetime value. You’ll play a key role in shaping the customer journey across post-purchase, re-engagement, win-back, and other key lifecycle moments.
Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Own the strategy, execution, and optimization of all email and SMS marketing campaigns using Klaviyo
- Create and manage customer segmentation, automated flows, and personalized content to drive retention and increase LTV
- Analyze campaign performance and lifecycle data to improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversions
- Collaborate with creative, e-commerce, and product teams to align messaging, promotions, and branding across channels
- Test and iterate on A/B experiments to optimize subject lines, content blocks, send times, and segmentation strategies
- Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and report on retention trends to leadership
- Stay updated on retention best practices, compliance regulations (e.g., TCPA, CAN-SPAM), and emerging trends
- Support special campaigns such as product launches, seasonal promotions, and loyalty program initiatives
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of email/SMS marketing strategies, customer segmentation, and lifecycle automation
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in email performance metrics and tools like Google Analytics
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Passion for sports, fitness, or the TYR brand is a plus
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing ora similar field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in retention/lifecycle marketing, with proven hands-on experience using Klaviyo
