Sr Manager, Content Marketing
will be based out of our NYC HQ reporting directly to our Director, Growth & Content Marketing. This individual will be responsible for creatively invigorating the existing, well-organized, passionate content team while also catapulting us into the next chapter of our content marketing story. Success in this role means eliciting that feeling that our brand is everywhere.
Main Responsibilities:
Content Marketing Strategy
Build on the existing content strategy for our portfolio of brands, including but not limited to Vita Coco and PWR LIFT.
Be a beacon of creativity – the team will be relying on your thought leadership to bring big, bold, stunt marketing ideas to the table!
Manage the Content Team on executing the content marketing plan, aiming for a disproportionate SOV on digital channels, primarily social.
Work internally to ensure strategy aligns with brand plans and collaborate with Brand Managers.
Strong understanding of consumer-led digital experiences and how branded content varies across platforms.
Innovate in social and influencer marketing.
Social Media
Manage a team of 2-3 (Social Media Manager & 1-2 Interns) on day-to-day management & growth of our social channels.
Key channels include: TikTok, IG, YouTube, Pinterest & LinkedIn.
Scale community management efforts.
Differentiate Vita Coco’s tone of voice in the comments section.
Source brand stunt & partnership opportunities via Instagram.
Amplify brand initiatives creatively.
Influencer
Manage a team of 2 (Associate Manager Content & Influencer Coordinator) on all influencer activations.
Support high-stakes relationships & negotiations.
Source new influencer relationships and develop creative collaborations.
Analytics & Measurement
Define clear goals and KPIs for content with the Associate Manager of Content.
Understand content marketing's role in the consumer journey across platforms and campaigns.
Provide investment recommendations based on business goals.
Manage any 3rd party tools necessary to track performance.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience
7 years experience at either a Creative agency or DTC company (CPG preferred).
Cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with Brand and Creative.
A culture enthusiast and aware of consumer preferences & social media trends.
Proficient in PowerPoint.
Clear, concise, and confident communication skills.
A healthy appetite for risk.
Aware of legal regulations impacting online content publishing.
