Job Description
Hoefer Welker has an openings for an experienced Interior Designer with an exceptional creative design portfolio and will collaborate in all phases of healthcare project design from programming and conceptual design through documentation, construction administration and selection and/or coordination of FFE and artwork. We are seeking an engaging designer with a passion for architecture and interior design that has the ability to collaborate. This person will maintain cooperative working relationships, internally and externally, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit and forward thinking attitude.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead Interior design scope on healthcare projectsDevelop space plans and programming documentsParticipate in the development of project schedule and deliveryOverall knowledge of construction documentation and processExtensive knowledge of healthcare materials and appropriate application of finishesEngage with clients and key stakeholders to guide decision makingAbility to handle multiple projects as well as delegate assignments and meet project deadlinesAbility to assist in production and development of design proposalsOverall knowledge of furniture specifications and budgetsJob Requirements
Education/Experience/Certifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field of Architecture or Interior Design with 8+ years of relevant interiors project experience required. A creative design portfolio is required.AIA or NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred.Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment.Qualifications/Skills:
The proper candidate will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail, teamwork, presentation and organizational skills.Proficiency in Revit with experience in Revit rendering. Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite experience desired.Graphics and visualization skills to communicate design ideasStrong knowledge of design processExcellent communication and relationship management skillsStrong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take action confidently and decisively
