About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of data center design projects, from campus planning and design stages to the completion of construction drawings. You'll be instrumental in assembling diverse design teams that include both internal and external partners, ensuring a cohesive execution plan and effective oversight of construction administration services. This role is perfect for professionals with robust design and construction expertise, complemented by exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
What You'll Do:
Facilitate planning and kickoff workshops with stakeholders.
Lead design reviews in collaboration with external partners.
Conduct large-scale workshops as necessary.
Draft scopes of work for contracts and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
Issue and manage contracts efficiently.
Define and monitor deliverables from diverse parties.
Keep track of costs, schedules, progress, and project scope.
Provide comprehensive health reporting on key project metrics.
Assemble optimal design teams from a mix of internal resources and strategically procured external partners.
Manage changes in project scope and design contracts effectively.
Facilitate technical decisions that align with project needs.
Coordinate design activities with procurement and construction efforts.
Ensure clear and timely communication with all stakeholders.
Guarantee that engineering information is delivered accurately and promptly.
What You'll Need:
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree. Professional certifications such as LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM are a plus.
Prior experience with data center design and/or construction is desired. Experience with healthcare, large commercial, laboratory, manufacturing facilities, or power plants is also valuable.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in design project management is required.
Professional licensure (PE, NCARB, RA, or equivalent) is preferred.
General knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices, along with the ability to interpret architectural drawings.
Ability to use judgment and analyze information from various sources while embracing innovative solutions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills complemented by an inquisitive mindset.
Excellent mathematical skills for calculating complex figures, including percentages and financial-related statistics.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

The minimum annual salary for this position is $170,000, with a maximum salary of $195,000. Compensation will be based on candidates' skills, qualifications, and experience, and successful candidates will be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Benefits include 401(K), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance.
