Collaborate with Plant Manager to ensure accomplishment of plant and regional goalsDirect, coordinate, and implement all plant marketing activitiesDevelop new business; source leads and referralsEstablish marketing goals, both financial and non-financialLead marketing personnel in a professional manner towards achieving performance goalsMaintain accurate records of buying/sourcing and prospecting activitiesWhat You'll Need
Three to five years of Industrial Ferrous/Non-Ferrous buying experience preferredAbility to manage and lead a teamMust be able to buy material at a margin and profit to support the plant's marketing goalsPrior experience with pricing & proposal models with the ability to "hedge" pricingSuccessful track record of generating new businessUnderstands and executes CMC accounting policies, RONA, working capital, operating profit and Business strategiesYour Education
