Job Title: Field Marketing Manager About Wilde: Salty, crunchy snacks have long been relegated to the sidelines – something to consume while watching television from the couch, movies in theatres, or games from the stands. Wilde is the story of an impossible snack made possible through relentless innovation and never taking no for an answer. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Wilde Chips was launched in 2019 by passionate entrepreneur veteran Jason Wright, whose mission was to create "junk food for healthy people." In development since 2016, Wilde's flagship product, Wilde Chips, are first-to-market complete protein chips crafted from Chicken Breast, Egg Whites and Bone Broth. Job SUMMARY: WILDE is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Marketing Manager to promote our brand and products through store visits, experiential event activations and in-store demonstrations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building relationships with store managers and customers, and increasing brand awareness throughout their designated territory. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is comfortable working independently, and has experience in both field marketing and sales. This role entails 80% of the job spent in the field. Key Responsibilities:
In-Store Execution: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers & decision makers in the defined area. Implement WILDE shopper marketing programs to drive sales growth by enhancing the shopper experience. Train & manage a local team of 3-6 Brand Ambassadors who will drive trial and sell-through via live product sampling events at key retail locations. Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners to secure prime placement for product displays and demos. Work closely with direct supervisor for direction and planning of efforts to drive sales through retail sales, consumer engagement and event activations. Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies. Experiential: Conduct in-store product demonstrations to support retailer initiatives. Execute events, trade shows, and in-store demos to promote our products and brand. Manage inventory, set up & break down event materials and equipment. Build relationships with event attendees and key stakeholders in the industry. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations to align on campaign objectives and executional plans. Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns. Travel to various locations as required for marketing activities. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field Flexible schedule as this is not a typical 9-5 role Proven track record of achieving sales targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Willingness to travel and work flexible hours 80% of this role entails time spent in the field Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred QUALIFICATIONS
