Job Summary:
The Enrichment and Marketing Coordinator for Community Education is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies to promote community education programs. This role involves collaborating with program coordinators, creating marketing materials, organizing events, and ensuring successful program implementation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred.Computer experience.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:Collaboration and Communication:Work with Program Coordinators to understand product and communication needs.Gather materials such as literature and past campaigns to analyze effective communication strategies.Draft and propose communication campaigns across social media, print media, direct mail, and multimedia.
Campaign Development:Present design concepts and recommendations to Program Coordinators and the Community Education Director.Schedule and develop filming scripts and oversee production.Create and distribute seasonal Community Education Brochures (up to 3 times per year).
Event and Program Management:Evaluate the success of seasonal campaigns.Participate in trade shows and community fairs, managing the Community Education booth/table.Design and execute youth, adult recreational, and enrichment programs.Promote recreational and enrichment programs to the public.Coordinate facilities, transportation, and instructors for programs and events.Arrange and manage trips associated with programs.
Community Engagement:Develop and implement Youth Service/Youth Development opportunities.Support Community Education instructors.Manage the Community Education Google Calendar for all programs.Pursue funding opportunities and oversee grants.Aid the Director in Wellness Initiatives.
Salary and Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience, starting at $24.23 and a benefits package including health insurance, paid leave, and other options are available.
This position will be approximately 20 hours per week during the school year. During the summer months, hours will be determined based on mutually agreed upon dates, approximately 10 hours per week.Ben
