Dallas, Denton, and Frisco, Texas . As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the development and production of proposals, statements of qualifications and shortlist presentations. You will also coordinate and create supplementary materials, update information in our marketing database, and work with technical teams to position for upcoming pursuits and generally help us improve our processes.Serve as a proposal manager to effectively lead pursuit teams (marketing and technical), collaborating with sales and technical staff on key pursuits, Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals and presentationsCreate compliant, compelling proposals based on the client requirementsWork with leadership and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to craft appropriate sales strategies and win themes. Make recommendations for subconsultants, projects, key differentiators.Lead kickoff meetings and subsequent status meetings.Manage the development and production of SOQ/proposal responses (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, LOIs etc.) in a deadline-intensive, fast-paced environment; includes developing visually attractive submittals that graphically communicates key pointsManage proposal schedule and ensure compliant contentCoordinate with subcontractors and other teaming partnersEnsure printing, final delivery and archiving of client submittalsProvide quality control checks for other Marketing Coordinators, providing style and grammar edits and verifying data, ensuring complianceCollaborate with sales and technical staff on client presentation/interview strategyFacilitate interview teams rehearsals for client presentationsCreate client presentation/interview: both digital and printed materials, as neededWork with sales to conduct client debriefs.Participate in key opportunity planning meetings, where ableRegularly attend meetings for their assigned groups/practicesSupport development of relationships with strategic teaming partners and subconsultantsAssist pursuit activities by providing competitor analysis, selection panel profiling, collecting and reviewing the competition’s past proposals, etc.Seeks out continuous improvement opportunities in proposal/presentation process and take initiative to work with Business Development Manager to solve and implementAssist larger, more complex pursuits under the leadership of a Senior Marketing Coordinator or Marketing StrategistTake the initiative to improve proposal skills both graphically and writing through learningHelp update and improve standard proposal language and graphics.Efficiently utilize Freese and Nichols' marketing database (Cosential) and other data sourcesHelp to create project descriptions and resumes by interviewing project personnel and reviewing existing documentation; perform other writing and editing assignments, as neededStays abreast on new proposal/presentation technologies, and shares updates with groupInteract and meet with Practice Leaders, Group Managers, Division Managers, Account Directors and company owners, as neededUnderstand and effectively communicate our overall sales cycle to Freese and Nichols staffQualifications
6+ years’ experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar sales-related positionBachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study: Business, Communications, Marketing, English or other related disciplineAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic team environment and demonstrate a willingness to shift easily between various responsibilities with diverse stakeholdersPreferredPrevious experience with Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) or consulting firmsAt Freese and Nichols, everyone on our team gets to make a meaningful difference in our communities.
