You ensure materials are error-free by helping to fact-check marketing materials and statistical backup.You access various databases and systems to retrieve current data to update a variety of materials.You proofread, fact-check materials and verify statistics and facts against internal and external sources.You compile circulation comments from legal, business, marketing, and creative associates onto a master document.You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, strong grammar, and syntax skills.You demonstrate strong production coordination skills, including following production schedules, tracking deliverables, problem solving, and escalating issues as appropriate.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills desirable.Qualifications:
You have a bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on economics, finance, statistics, journalism, or a related field.You have 1 to 3 years of editorial experience OR are a recent college graduate.Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $84,894-$135,830.In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.We are an equal opportunity employer, which means we comply with all federal, state and local laws that prohibit discrimination when making all decisions about employment.
