Role Purpose As part of the field-based Product & Portfolio Squad, your main responsibilities include engaging Thought Leaders (TLs), generating insights for strategic decisions, executing regional meetings, and delivering programs to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) for Bayer’s Cardiovascular Renal Portfolio. Coverage includes IL, St. Louis, and Northern Indiana, with travel up to 50%. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Thought Leader Engagement Congress & Regional Convention Leadership Speaker Bureau Engagement Implement Regional Marketing Initiatives Insight Generation & Field Partnership Details of Responsibilities Responsibilities span establishing TL relationships, leading congresses, managing speaker bureaus, executing marketing initiatives, and generating insights to support brand strategy. Specific tasks include developing deep clinical expertise, coordinating conference presence, supporting speaker programs, tailoring marketing materials, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize engagement and strategy execution. Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree Valid driver’s license and clean record 5-7 years in pharma/biotech, with at least 2 years customer-facing experience 2 years in cardiovascular therapeutic area Proven strategic, sales, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and cross-functionally Willingness to travel 50%+ Preferred: Life science background Residency in or near the territory Experience in sales training, management, or market access Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $143,240 - $214,860, plus bonus/commission. Benefits include health, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and more. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and other factors.
