Overview
The Kitchen and Bathroom Sales Designer will be responsible for designing and selling custom kitchens and bathrooms, collaborating with homeowners to bring their dream spaces to life. This role requires a blend of creative design expertise, strong consultative sales skills, and proficiency in CAD software, preferably 2020 Design or REVIT. The designer will work both in a state-of-the-art showroom and during in-home consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with homeowners to assess needs, preferences, and remodeling goals; conduct site measurements and document current conditions.
- Develop detailed, functional, and aesthetically appealing design plans that align with homeowner expectations.
- Guide homeowners in selecting cabinetry, finishes, fixtures, and other project elements.
- Utilize 2020 Design, REVIT, or similar CAD software to create precise and professional project plans.
- Partner with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with budget constraints.
- Assist homeowners through the purchasing process, from concept to contract.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and best practices to deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software, with a focus on 2020 Design or REVIT.
- Strong consultative sales skills with a successful track record of closing projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with homeowners and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- CKBD or AKBD certification is preferred.
