Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Communications Specialist to support our public relations and marketing efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and strengthen our brand presence across media and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a strong understanding of PR, social media, influencer partnerships, and brand marketing.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA (you must have the flexibility to travel).
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Public Relations
- Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry professionals.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
- Secure press coverage in publications and digital media platforms.
- Manage brand partnerships and collaborations to maximize exposure.
- Monitor media trends and opportunities for brand placement.
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales.
- Manage content creation for marketing materials, including social media, newsletters, blogs, and website updates.
- Oversee social media strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to develop compelling visuals and messaging.
- Analyze marketing and PR performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.
- Coordinate product launches, events, and activations.
- Facilitate product placement for optimal brand awareness.
- Ad-hoc project work and carrying out specific or general research.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in PR, marketing, or communications (luxury, fashion, or lifestyle industry preferred).
- Strong media relations and storytelling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience managing social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for luxury branding and lifestyle marketing.
