E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Mid Graphics Developer/Designer to join our team in Reston, VA in support of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). DIA provides intelligence on foreign militaries and their operating environments so the United States and its allies can prevent and decisively win wars. It serves everyone from the president to the soldier in combat through a combination of expert analysis, intelligence gathering, and cutting-edge science and technology.
- Provide graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, font management, and advanced pre-publications techniques.
- Integrate graphics with text, audio and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence products.
- Work collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances/ conveys analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions.
- Design/illustrate abstract ideas/concepts and graphically depict technical subject matter for use in visual presentations, web design, and administration products.
- Determine the visual requirements for print, web, or other media; envisioning and proposing solutions to satisfy customer requirements.
- Provide weekly progress reports to leadership, including status of on-going and newly levied requirements.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and 3+ years of experience or 7+ years of experience supporting defense analytic requirements with nuclear engineering research in lieu of a degree.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Experience with the following: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere, and Flash), Active Server Pages (ASP), Java Scripts (JS), Apple Final Cut Pro X, Apple Mac hardware platforms, Map Publisher, MS Office Suite, SharePoint including Developer (and other associated tools), and any other interactive graphics enablers, languages, or tools specified.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
