Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Music Minister located in Covington, GA. The Music Minister will be responsible for leading and coordinating worship music, planning and directing church music activities, and providing musical accompaniment during services. The role includes selecting appropriate music, rehearsing with the choir and musicians, and collaborating with other ministry leaders to enhance the worship experience. Other responsibilities include helping the pastor in day to day operations of the church.
Qualifications
- Able to lead choir and congregational music
- Be open to newer songs and hymns that glorify the Saviour.
- Must be in agreement with the churches statement of faith and practice. (Newton is an Independent Baptist Church that stands for the fundamentals of the faith and holds to the King James Version of the Bible)
