Digital Media Specialist

Position Summary – In this role you will create and manage digital and print content that promotes the mission and ministry of Missionary Flights International (MFI). You will also play a key role in donor development and fundraising activities. MFI is 501(c)3 Christian non-profit organization.

Essential duties and responsibilities

· Develop and implement digital and print content that increases awareness and promotes engagement in MFI’s mission.

· Ensure MFI’s website is current. Plan and execute updates in design and content.

· Increase MFI’s social media footprint; improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

· Produce and edit videos that highlight MFI’s impact.

· Manage development and distribution of all MFI print publications including, but not limited to, Flight Briefings, mailings, promotional inserts, etc.

· Assist staff with creation of products related to support raising communications (i.e., prayer cards, newsletters, displays, social media help, videos)

· Suggest and implement direct marketing efforts to increase MFI’s donor base

· Play an active role as needed in development marketing duties.

· Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Skills, Expertise & Experience

· Solid knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, ProPresenter, QuickTime Play and/or other media editing software

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital media

  2 years of experience working in digital and social media including website management or an equivalent combination of education and          experience.

· Knowledge of video and printed material production.

· Familiarity with web design and content management systems

· Solid project management skills

· Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as well as proven storytelling ability

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
