FULL TIME Morning News Anchor/Reporter . News/Talk 780 KOH is the heritage news and information radio station for Northern Nevada and the surrounding area. We are seeking someone who is a local-first news leader aka NEWS JUNKIE who understands story selection, the power of audio and nat sound and the ability to grab the listener with compelling, fast-paced storytelling. We need someone who knows what breaking news is, how to respond to it and most importantly how to make our coverage shine during it! We are a fully staffed newsroom with all the tools you’ll need. Now we just need you to report for it. It's a very high-profile position that could include substitute hosting on our dynamic morning news show, and some TV appearances with our local TV station partner. Social media skills (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) are a must. In addition to your regular anchor shift, you must also be willing to hit the street and report. Reno is a dynamic, fast-growing city with more than enough interesting stories to uncover, not to mention a fun place to be, so come join us!Responsibilities include
producing and delivering newscasts that generate ratings by being entertaining, informative, community oriented and forwarding the brand. As an ambassador for Cumulus, participation in station and client events/remotes, connecting with the community and our listeners, building a relationship with clients through the sales team and networking within the market are paramount.
