Position: Motion Designer | MV Creative
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute high-quality motion graphics and animations for system-level components, ensuring a consistent and premium visual experience.
- Support creative leads by producing final animated assets that align with brand and platform design principles.
- Work independently to create polished motion prototypes and animations.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Product Design, and Engineering teams to integrate motion design seamlessly into user experiences.
- Stay up to date on emerging tools and trends in motion design and animation, experimenting with new techniques to push creative boundaries.
- Present motion concepts and deliverables to stakeholders, clearly articulating design intent and rationale.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Motion Designer, with a portfolio showcasing high-fidelity 3D motion design and animation.
- Proficiency in tools like Cinema 4D, Redshift, and After Effects with a proven understanding of lighting, rendering, and animation principles.
- Experience to work independently, taking creative direction and executing highly polished motion graphics.
- Proven understanding of branding principles, ensuring a cohesive visual language across animations.
- Experience creating motion prototypes and final renders that align with UX and product guidelines.
- Proven communication and collaboration skills, with the experience to articulate design decisions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in motion design for system-level components in a platform or product-driven environment.
- Familiarity with motion scripting, procedural animation, or generative techniques using tools like Houdini or Xpresso.
- Knowledge of real-time motion design workflows in Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Understanding of animation performance optimization for various output platforms.
- Experience designing for spatial computing, AR/VR, or immersive interfaces.
- Experience to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, iterative design environment.
- Proven eye for cinematic storytelling, typography, and visual composition.
Compensation: US$95,000/year to US$148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
