Mechanicsville Music is a family-owned music store that has been serving the community for 30 years. We pride ourselves on providing quality musical instruments, accessories, rentals, and personalized music lessons. Our goal is to help musicians of all skill levels grow their passion and talent in a friendly, supportive environment.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Drum Instructor to join our team. As a drum instructor, you will be responsible for providing individual and group drum lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. You'll play a key role in inspiring our students and fostering a love of music in a welcoming, family-oriented environment.
Music Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group drum lessons for students ranging from beginner to advance on a weekly basis
- Track students' progress and provide regular feedback to students and their families
- Participate in store events or performances, if applicable
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment
Music Teacher Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in music
- Previous Experience in teaching, or a strong music background
- Music performance skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience working with children
