A ministry internship opportunity within The Salvation Army USA Central Territory Music & Creative Arts Ministries Department.
Purpose
The purpose of the Internship Program is to give Salvationist college music students and college graduates the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in Salvation Army music and creative arts ministries programing. This also provides The Salvation Army with a viable method of identifying, encouraging, and training our future local and divisional leaders in music and creative arts.
Learning Opportunities
Field Training - Interns will accompany a department staff member to minister and teach at divisional music camps and conservatories as decided by the Territorial Music & Creative Arts Ministries Secretary (TMS). Interns will also participate in the Central Music Institute (CMI) and Resonate camps. If an intern is 22 years or older, they will be on faculty for CMI and Resonate. If they are younger than 22 years old, they will be a full-time student participating in any available leadership curriculum.
Administrative - In order to prepare our interns for positions in music and creative arts within The Salvation Army, it is imperative they learn about preparing for camps and Salvation Army processes and procedures. Each intern will take part in standard day-to-day functions such as staff meetings, camp preparation, library maintenance, and training in other related areas as deemed appropriate by the TMS.

Each intern will report directly to the positions in the following order:
