As a Music Retail Associate, you will have the opportunity to meet individual sales goals, provide top-notch customer service, and take on additional responsibilities within our store. Exceed personal sales goals and contribute to the store’s overall success. Promote our Music & Arts lesson programs to customers and community members. Build connections with local teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations to drive business. Establish meaningful customer relationships and deliver engaging sales presentations, drawing from our sales training. Provide outstanding customer service that keeps our customers coming back. Cultivate customer loyalty through positive interactions and follow-ups. Participate actively in store operations, including merchandising, creating displays, and store maintenance. Help maintain store security protocols, including managing keys and personal alarm codes. Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years of relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of musical instruments and written music. Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Preferred Qualifications: 4 years of relevant work experience. Advanced knowledge of musical instruments and written music. Special Attributes: Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong commitment to providing top-tier customer service. Ability to work under pressure and solve challenging situations. Confidence, drive, and enthusiasm in the sales environment. Strong decision-making skills and a sense of responsibility. Ability to engage customers and effectively close sales. Strong multitasking abilities with customers both in-store and on the phone.
