Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
The Coordinator, Creative Advertising will be a vital member of the theatrical Creative Advertising department. Working as part of a dynamic, collaborative, and fast paced creative team, the Coordinator will report to the EVP of Creative Advertising, while supporting the direct team’s staff, and liaising with other employees in the department.
The Coordinator, Creative Advertising will play a crucial role in providing support to both the domestic and global marketing teams, ensuring that all matters are managed in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage complex schedule of meetings communicating with numerous internal and external partners
- Communicate quickly with team members on multiple platforms like email, Microsoft Teams and Google Docs
- Organize and update a digital database of all A/V and Print advertising materials from early stages of development, through numerous revisions and finishing stages
- Prepare creative materials for meetings, including transcripts for A/V materials, creating PDFs for Print and any other items that may need to be prepared days ahead of time, and sometimes last minute
- Operateconference room systemsto playback materials during meetings, ensuring the quality and consistency of these spaces by coordinating with facilities and colleagues who frequently use the shared systems
- Maintain records of creative materials presented in meetings, tested, shared with filmmakers and sent to executives
- Ensure secure transfer and communicate confidential information and materials regarding not-yet released films, following security protocols for team members and external business partners
- Coordinate with Creative Operations department for secure transfer of A/Vdubbing and material requests
- Ensure timely purchase order processing of invoices from numerous external partners, ensuring accuracy of charges and tracking overall budget spend
- Execute SAP system working with Finance to ensure budget accuracy
- Handle booking travel & expense reports for EVP, Creative Advertising
- Manage lunch orders,visitor guest passes/drive-ons and conference room reservationswhen necessary
- 4+ years of experience specifically supporting senior level executives
- Knowledge of technological tools and media file types is a strong plus, including but not limited to various file formats such as QuickTime, PDF, Keynote, MP3, AIFF, and other post-production assets
- Strong oral and written communication skills, paired with a professional demeanor
- Demonstrates initiative, proactivityand meticulous follow-through in all tasks
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and the ability to execute multiple responsibilities whilejugglinga busy schedule and managingmultiple projects simultaneously with focus and efficiency
- Self-motivated and hardworking individual who thrives both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite
Salary Range:$60,000 -$65,000 (not bonus eligible).
