SALARY RANGE: $44,200 - $93,938
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be NH certified or eligible to teach Instrumental Music.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Teacher in the Nashua School District is highly qualified for the delivery of specified course content, uses effective strategies for differentiation, interacts positively and professionally with students and parents, expects students to learn, and actively engages students in lessons that enhance critical thinking skills. Teachers implement instructional strategies that contribute to a climate where students are engaged in meaningful learning experiences. The effective teacher inspires and empowers students in their own learning and collaborates with peers to align curriculum and enhance the instructional environment towards student performance goals. Professional obligations are met through continuous pursuit of new understanding of teaching and learning, reflection on practices and beliefs, and efficient work habits for planning lessons, meeting deadlines, and honoring schedules.
