Newmark is seeking a skilled and adaptable Content Manager to join our Field Marketing team. In this role, they will collaborate closely with regional brokerage teams and graphic designers to craft persuasive, clear and engaging written proposals and presentations that effectively showcase Newmark's services and solutions. The Content Manager will leverage their strong writing skills and storytelling expertise to create succinct, impactful copy tailored to each client's unique needs. They will have exceptional command of grammar and editing, an eye for detail and will understand how language translates into design. This position requires the ability to manage multiple deadlines while collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders-from senior executives to junior brokers-to support business development efforts across the region.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with brokers and senior-level professionals to write and edit customized content and organize existing material into a compelling business case or proposal for each assigned opportunity (e.g., Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, Requests for Qualifications, and Presentations).
- Manage the entire proposal development process, including evaluating requirements, crafting content, formulating clear, succinct and effective responses, and ensuring compliance with all solicitation guidelines.
- Manage multiple client responses and deadlines simultaneously.
- Work effectively with a diverse team of professionals with varying expertise and personalities.
- Contribute to creating/positioning solutions, identifying value propositions and creating compelling messaging.
- Partner with teams to develop copy that aligns with brand guidelines, business strategy and resonates both verbally and visually.
- Develop other specialized materials as needed to support business initiatives across the organization.
- Provide excellent team and internal client support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Real estate experience working with brokers and other internal stakeholders is a plus
- Minimum of 5+ years of proposal writing experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills
- Passion for producing intelligent, creative and cohesive work
- Experience managing expectations and collaborating effectively with individuals of diverse personalities
- Proven ability to carry projects from inception to completion
- Strong track record of balancing short-term, deadline-driven tasks with long-term, ongoing projects
- Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
- Expert-level proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 annually
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
