Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the credit unions strategic marketing and public relations plans. Provide oversight, direction, evaluation, and management to subordinates and/or vendors involved in the marketing and public relations campaigns. Cultivate new, and maintain existing relationships for all facets of corporate sponsorship.

Duties and Responsibilities * Assist with development of strategic marketing plan * Help prepare, implement, and supervise the budget for the department that is consistent with the overall strategic plan and budget * Envision creative marketing and public relations concepts. Design, develop, and implement marketing and public relations programs * Examine market trends and demographic data * Be a visible presence in the local community and sponsor the community. Promote the company through the community, and charitable organizations and activities.
Minimum Qualifications: * Associate or Bachelor's degree, or experience in a related field, and/or a combination of experience and training in communications, marketing, and/or advertising. * Three to five years of similar or related experience * Experience in the financial field considered an asset. * Experience with budget and expense management. * Excellent communication, time management, and people skills.
