The Senior Manager, Marketing will oversee the planning, development and execution of the AlphaX US marketing and advertising initiatives in order to establish the TMX US brand in the marketplace. This position will play a vital role in the company’s growth. Reporting to the AlphaX US Head of Sales, the Marketing Manager’s primary responsibility is to work with the team to develop and implement a marketing strategy including participant marketing materials, press interactions, speaking events, conference sponsorship management, sales database, and event planning.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and implement marketing and branding strategy for AlphaX US
Identify and execute on the most advantageous areas for media partnerships
Lead conference sponsorship, charity sponsorship, and presence at events
Coordinate marketing efforts with TMX's financial and branding goals
Market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations
Work closely with the TMX Marketing team in Canada to maintain the brand globally and collaborate on efforts
Act as an extension of the sales teams at industry events as the need arises
Assist in creation of both internal and external communications
Must haves:
Bachelor's degree; with a well-rounded marketing or business development experience with a focus on marketing expansion
Superb analytical skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate customer advocacy
Detailed knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management
Deep understanding of changing market dynamics
Nice to haves:
Experience within a trading venue
Note: Hybrid role 3 days in office
