We’re disrupting the industry with our game-changing product and culturally driven creative, and are looking for a Senior Designer or an ambitious designer join us in building the next generation of intimates.
Responsibilities
Excellent execution, attention to detail, and understanding of garment construction
Ability to take detailed feedback from Design Director, Creative Director & VP to execute company vision
Expert in Adobe creative suite – Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, EXCEL -all a must
Ability to keep an indesign file up to date
Tech packs – this job is focused on details of garments, set ups in ai, implementing in PLM
Ability to photoreal render/ manipulate photos to create 3d renderings
Understanding of skims aesthetic
Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate ideas to group
Understanding of fabrics and how they perform – great if comes with experience of sourcing trims and fabrications
Excellent organization skills
Complete detailed design briefs for all new product development
Able to design into line Plan
Communicate regularly to assist in product development & production with team + vendors.
Prepare development packages and participate in all communication and follow up related to each package in partnership with the Design Coordinator. Responsible for updating category styles in web PDM.
Manage development and execution of trim and artwork packages.
Set up spec sheets for all bodies. Communicate fit and construction details to Technical Design department. Complete all technical sketches for domestic and overseas programs.
Maintain an active role in the weekly Design Flow Meeting. Take notes and follow up on all outstanding issues
Implementing systems for when we grow (dropbox to share with vendors, set up systems with vendors, and down the road PLM or other programs used to streamline design.
Experience with lab dip approvals
Experience with print comments
Assist Design director on all projects
Assist with line sheets & presentations
Keep design room organized and things filed away
Design Boards/ presentation materials
Conduct & participate in live fittings – comprehensive understanding of garment construction
Communicate with vendor via email
Assist with style log and assigning style numbers
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5-7 years of Fashion Design experience is a must.
Expert in Adobe creative suite – Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator all a must
Experience with Knits, sleepwear, seamless – great if understands treatmentsBachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent required.Expert Knowledge in Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, Word and Full Circle PLM (WFX)Ability to mentor and motivate a team – positive can do attitudeExcellent verbal and written skills.Strong time management skills with excellent ability to efficiently prioritize and delegate.
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 a year
