The Director of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing market planning, marketing management, market research, marketing, and sales activities on a daily basis.Our Marketing Director is a forward-thinking partner, They will demonstrate ownership for the Creating Raving Fans Strategy. Specifically by delivering 2nd-mile service, helping to ensure more people come to see us as an Xtra-Ordinary place.Responsibilities:Serve and lead in restaurant operations 15/20 hours/weekComplete department work 20/25 hours/weekLearn and apply business strategies to improve organizational performanceMaintain social media presence across all platformsLead community events and maintain community relationshipsFollow up with all catering orders and lead large catering orders to completionKnowledge of all restaurant and market giveawaysBenefits and Pay:Flexible schedule (must be able to work Saturdays)Full time at 40 hours a week: 60-65K yearlyPaid time off (2 weeks)401k Plan: eligible after 1 year of serviceHealth insurance: coverage through Blue Cross (coverage up to 400)Mileage reimbursementQualifications:Market Planning, Marketing Management, and Market Research skillsMarketing and Sales skillsExperience in developing marketing strategies and campaignsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fieldPrevious experience in the restaurant or food industry is a plusKey Responsibilities:In-store marketingDaily: Ensure POP is current, enhance dining room experience with flowers on tables, ensure promo pieces are in good repair, and maintain community board and marquisStore events: manage and communicate store events proactively with flyers and social media platforms, leverage PR opportunitiesCommunity and school relationshipsDevelop these relationships with face-to-face visits, phone and email contactManage spirit night partnerships, ensuring schools actively promote on their own and sign our agreementCommunicate in a professional and timely manner to grow our brandManage requests for donations (no cash donations) according to donation guidelinesCatering and Outside SalesEnsure proactive communication with operational leadersManage deliveries within Outside Sales guidelinesEnsure necessary catering supplies are on hand for standard orders at all timesAttend leadership meetings and work closely with the leadership team to discuss current and future marketing activitiesWork closely with operational leaders, communicating proactively to make sure they are prepared with food, supplies and staffing to deliver great experiences.Coordinate scheduling needs with the respective leader handling schedulingLeverage our 4 unique assets to develop emotional connections.
