MOGAS is actively searching for a self-motivated and highly technical Valve Designer to join the Production Design team in our Engineering department. This person's goal will be to proficiently design and develop custom valve solutions tailored to our clients specific needs. This role works closely with our engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom valve solutions from concept to production.Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise.Perform simulations and testing to validate designs.Work closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in valve technology.Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Technology or related field preferredFive (5) years of experience in valve design or a related field.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Success in this role requires five to ten years related experience designing in Solidworks including experience running calculations as well as proven knowledge of design codes and standards. Attention to detail and thoroughness must be the candidates top priority as well as top notch organization skills and working with a sense of urgency.
