$18.00Key Responsibilities:Develops and manages marketing and communication strategies to serve the Library's mission and programsMaintains brand consistency and ensures that all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelinesCoordinates with staff to develop appropriate print and digital promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters flyers, e-mail campaigns, signs, posters, etc.Generates press releases, talking points, social media posts, video scripts, presentations, and other stakeholder communicationsCollaborates with website manager to ensure content is accurate, updated, and consistent with brandingCreates and administers surveys to gather information on Library materials and servicesOversees online communities and manages the library's social media accountsPlans the Library's social media strategy, creating content and campaigns that drive engagement and increase followersAnalyzes marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvementCollaborates with colleagues to create multifaceted marketing strategies, such as digital, print, and word-of-mouth, to promote library services and special eventsResponds to patron complaints or concerns as directed by the Library Director or Assistant Library DirectorDetermines quantity and distribution of all print promotional materials, optimizing their effectivenessEnsures digital or archival files of marketing materials are preservedParticipates in frequent community outreach activities to enhance the library's presence and engage with the community (Must be able to work weekends and evenings.)Develops and stewards partnershipsMeets with community leaders and makes presentations about library initiativesOther duties as assignedRequirementsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree or some college completedProven experience in marketing, preferably in a library or educational settingProficient in Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google WorkspaceExperience managing social media platforms and executing social media campaignsStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret dataExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate with team membersPrioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlinesPassion for libraries and promoting literacy and educationAbility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies is a plusBenefitsPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Training & DevelopmentFlexible scheduling
