smartdept. inc. is searching for a Freelance PR Specialist for a luxury travel client located in Denver, CO . The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience in public relations . This is a part-time, fully remote, project-based opportunity requiring 5-10 hours per week , with the possibility of ongoing collaboration. Compensation for this position is expected to be $25-$35/hour , depending on experience level and fit.
What You’ll Do:
Secure media placements in relevant publications to elevate brand visibility.
Pitch and coordinate interviews, guest articles, and podcast appearances.
Develop and execute PR strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and podcast hosts.
Create press releases, pitches, and other media materials to effectively communicate the brand’s story.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in the travel, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Strong media contacts and a proven track record of securing placements.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Creative and proactive approach to identifying PR opportunities.
Experience with digital PR tools and platforms.
