About the Senior Business Consultant GIS Role:
The Business Development Manager-Geographic Information Systems plays a vital leadership role, inspiring our GIS business development team to achieve and surpass exciting sales goals! We’re looking for a seasoned professional in account management and business development who knows the GIS landscape inside and out. The perfect candidate will thrive in team leadership, cultivate strong client relationships, and be passionate about driving continuous revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Account Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective strategies to expand the company’s footprint in the industry while bringing in new clients with whom you can nurture and develop relationships.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities, new trends, and competitive analysis in the GIS domain.
- Sales Presentations: Led preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals customized to meet client needs and requirements.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership and other departments to align sales strategies with broader business objectives, ensuring cohesive efforts in business expansion.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales and business development within the Geospatial, GIS industry.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing a sales team, showcasing strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Geospatial, GIS, Photogrammetry etc. solutions.
