Demonstrate clear writing, confident presentation, and effective facilitation skills.Write and edit executive messages for the IRS Chief Procurement Officer.Draft and develop speeches and talking points for client senior leadership staff.Lead the development of a monthly newsletter.Track and present communications data, concepts, and arguments clearly and succinctlySupport key components of change management projects to include strategy, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement.Conduct user-centered research to create practical approaches to increase customer awareness and adoption of change.Work with senior and experienced staff to support the client in the development and implementation of a change management strategy and plan.Create content for stakeholder engagement regarding planned changes – what’s in it for me, why it matters, how it’s done, and the status of the program.Communicate with all levels of an organization and prepare engaging and dynamic briefings for senior executives.Perform quality assurance reviews on written work products.Track and report status of change programs, to include key metrics and risk.Support the development and continuous improvement of Guidehouse change management methodologies and tools.Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in communications, Organization Development, English, Marketing, Business, or a related field.3-5 years of change management and/or communications experience, excluding internships, co-ops, and fellowships.Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as the Guidehouse re(Vision) Change by Design Framework, Prosci ADKAR® Model, Kotter’s 8 Steps for Leading ChangeExplain complex information in a clear and concise manner with the use of visuals.Ability to write and edit reports, create briefings for senior executives, research and write articles, customize content for various audiences, and produce online content.Ability to gather information and synthesize it into presentable deliverables.Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.Ability to proofread and edit against a brand/writing guide.Ability to work independently and within a team setting.Ability to lead and support the development of consultant-level staff.Proficient use of the suite of Microsoft Office products.Due to nature of client engagements, US Citizenship restrictions may apply.What Would Be Nice To Have
Experience in training and/or facilitation.Experience in consulting and business development.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.Understanding of Associated Press (AP) Style.Industry recognized certification, such as the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci Change Management Certification., etc.The annual salary range for this position is $77,500.00-$155,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
