Summary
The Product Photographer is responsible for producing Product Images in 360-degree views and 2 dimensional (2D) formats for displaying on Parts ASAP system, catalogs and websites. The Photographer will collaborate directly with the Creative Services Manager and Image Processor to meet production deadlines and adhere to product standards and formatting directions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Employee must be able to perform these essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job, absent undue hardship.
- Supports the photography studio in producing 360-spin images using robotic turntables, along with still photography, that accurately reflects the product.
- Demonstrates creative sensibility and strong photographic and technical skills to meet production standards with minimal reshoots.
- Utilizes proper lighting technique, styling, and set up, following all necessary specifications.
- Uses consistent setup process for accurate and best representation of products.
- Assists in the review, editing and auditing of produced content to remove inconsistencies.
- Maintains individual naming, tracking and reporting documents to effectively accomplish work.
- Maintains iMac, 360view system, all camera equipment – including lights, lenses, and tripods.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Complies with the requirements of the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System (when required).
Required Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1-3 years in professional design or photography.
- Intermediate computer knowledge including e-mail, Word, and Excel software.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
- Mechanical knowledge of automobiles or farm equipment is helpful.
