The UX Software Engineer role fills a critical gap in our core engineering team. This role is 50% designer and 50% front-end software engineer.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development and operation of everything on Patch.com.
- Bring ideas to life from ideation and mock, to wireframe, and then to production code while working with multiple departments and executive stakeholders.
Most important skills to have:
- 4+ years of experience in front-end software development in an agile environment.
- You have a strong design background and excel at creating intuitive, visually compelling user experiences using principles like color theory, typography, and hierarchy.
- You can rapidly wireframe an idea and convey the solution to a variety of stakeholders.
- You have a deep understanding of typescript, CSS-in-JS, react, MUI and styled components.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Figma, and can take ideas from Figma to reality.
- You understand how front-end design affects SEO.
- An online portfolio of your work.
Nice to have:
- Experience with next.js.
- Experience working in a highly scalable environment and CDNs.
- Experience with Jira/Confluence and basic Agile methodologies.
Compensation Range:
Annual salary: $90,000 - $130,000, commensurate with talent and experience.
