Job Summary
The Entry-Level Graphic Designer will assist in creating visually compelling designs that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. This role is ideal for a motivated designer looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with marketing teams, and contribute to various creative projects.
This is a fully remote position; however, we prefer candidates based in Northern Virginia due to occasional travel to our headquarters in Warrenton, VA for key meetings and team events.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Design & Branding
- Create visually engaging graphics that align with Pave America's brand identity for digital and print materials.
- Assist in developing marketing materials, including social media graphics, brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
- Creative Direction & Execution
- Support the development of design concepts, ensuring consistency and high-quality execution across all marketing assets.
- Work on creative projects that reinforce brand messaging and enhance customer engagement.
- Creative Project Management
- Assist in managing multiple design projects from conception to completion while meeting deadlines and maintaining efficiency.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively seek feedback to refine designs.
- Collaboration With Regional Marketing Managers
- Work closely with marketing, content, and development teams to create cohesive campaigns.
- Contribute design ideas and solutions to enhance brand messaging.
- Support Photo and Video Content Creation
- Assist with editing and designing photo and video content for marketing and branding purposes.
- Provide feedback on visual content to maintain brand consistency.
- Digital & Print Media Design
- Design graphics for websites, social media, email campaigns, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
- Ensure high-quality print production by preparing and formatting files correctly.
- Trend Awareness
- Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve visual storytelling and engagement.
- Research and recommend innovative design techniques to enhance brand appeal.
- Brand Guidelines Enforcement
- Ensure consistency in branding across all channels by following brand guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining and evolving design standards as the brand grows.
- Vendor & Production Coordination
- Work with external vendors, printers, and production teams to ensure high-quality output for printed and promotional materials.
- Assist in proofing and reviewing final designs before production.
Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes)

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a marketing or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing, social media graphics, and print production.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and professional design work.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to take creative direction, accept feedback, and make revisions efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
