About the Role

Perfect Angle AV Solutions is looking for a skilled, hands-on AV technician who is experienced in TV mounting, structured wiring, and projector installations. This is not an entry-level role—we expect you to already know how to crimp Cat6 cables, run wires, and use power tools efficiently.

New hires will work side by side with the owner to understand our company culture, workflow, and quality standards before handling jobs independently.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Mount and install large TVs (85–100 inches) on walls
2. Install projectors and projector screens in home theaters and commercial spaces
3. Run structured wiring (Cat6, fiber, speaker wire) cleanly and efficiently
4. Crimp and terminate Cat6 cables for networking and AV systems
5. Use power tools daily (drills, stud finders, fish tape, cable management tools)
6. Lead a junior technician assistant on job sites
7. Educate customers on how to use their home theater, smart home, and AV systems
8. Ensure all installations are clean, professional, and high quality

What You Must Have

1. Minimum three years of hands-on AV installation experience
2. Strong power tool experience – drills, stud finders, fish tape, crimping tools, etc.
3. Proficiency in structured wiring – running & terminating Cat6 cables is required
4. Experience with TV and projector installations in residential & commercial settings
5. Strong problem-solving skills – ability to troubleshoot on-site without supervision
6. Comfortable working directly with customers and explaining how to use installed systems
7. Valid driver’s license – must be able to travel to job sites
8. A growth mindset – willing to learn new techniques, adapt to better processes, and improve your craft

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred)

1. Experience with Control4, Crestron, Lutron, or Elan/Nice
2. Knowledge of AV calibration (Dolby Atmos, speaker tuning, room acoustics)
3. Experience with rack installation & cable management
