Directs and arranges music for the Worship Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church (“PBC”).
Responsibilities
- Accompany weekly rehearsals for the PBC choir
- Assist in the production of new music and feature projects
- Create pre-production tracking for services
- Actively participate on the worship planning team
- Actively participate on the creative planning team for production and worship events
- Arrange music for weekend services and special events
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
- Commitment to the Worship Ministry vision and core values: Passionate, Relational, Excellent, Accountable, Collaborative, and Honoring
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Experience using Ableton and Pro Tools
- Proficiency with Finale or Dorico notation software
- Experience working in a production environment
- Previous experience as a Music Director
- Proficient in music reading
- Strong playing skills on a primary instrument (Piano preferred)
- Proficient in Google, Microsoft Office, and Apple products
- Availability to work a Sunday – Thursday schedule with flexibility for evening events
- Ability to work at a desk for extended periods and perform physical activities such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 10 pounds
