Oversee the communications department activities and resources. Manage the communications staff and ensure departmental goals align with organizational objectives. Develop staffing plans, policies, and procedures for the Answering Service and Switchboard. Manage telecommunications equipment, service requests, and billing processes. Monitor budgets and financial operations related to communication services. Maintain positive relationships with physicians and office managers. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of leadership and supervisory experience in a Switchboard/Answering Service setting. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service experience required. Ability to respond quickly in emergencies and manage interactions professionally. Willingness to travel within the Chicago area and work flexible hours. Compensation ranges from $66,560 to $96,408 annually, including wages, benefits, and other compensation.
